This event was our first and got the ball rolling. Held at the Stone Barn in Unionville, over 250 people attended. The Chasin team worked under the gun to pull this first fundraising event off! It was in such demand..that other events soon followed.
Historic Hunt with Mr. Stewarts Cheshire Foxhounds
On Dec 18, 2011 , Several members of Mr. Stewarts Cheshire Hounds Fox Hunt, most notably, Paddy Neilson and Don Cochran, got permission from the club to host a benefit fundraising hunt for Jake. This event once again, was pulled together within a month's notice. It turns out, that over 150 riders from neighboring hunts in PA, NJ and MD showed up to ride in this historic event. Greenspring Valley Hunt in Maryland
On April 23, The Chasin For Chalfin Team hosted a fundraising event in Maryland. Immediately following the Maryland Grand National Steeplechase race, locals and out of towners came to The Green Valley Hunt Club, to party and dance the night away. Over 250 people attended. The weather was a bit iffy on the day of the race, but the evening sky cleared up and a very good time was had by all! Silent Auction items brought in thousands of dollars, not to mention, the open bar, amazing food by Bettina Isabella, Larry Smith and his fabulous band "Release" and DJ Bradley Hendrix".Just like the previous fundraising events, this one was a winner! Benefit Polo Match Highlights at Brandywine Polo Club
On July 17th, 2011 was a polo benefit match! We had over 300 people attending. The weather was fabulous, the match was fantastic and the fundraising was a success. Click here to see highlights from this polo benefit event!
165 runners came out on a weather perfect day to compete in the first annual Runnymede Run, a 10K x-country race. This was the final leg of Trail Creek Outfitters 4 part trail-race series. The challenging Course climbed rolling hills that ran into steep valleys and weaved through secluded woods while, runners had to negotiate technical obstacles like creek crossings and horse jumps. Runners reveled over refreshments their recounts of the race. Every contestant had glowing comments about the unique and extreme beauty of the course.
Benefit Concert wtih Julia Chalfin
On Dec 16, 2011, almost a year to date of our first event, Julia Chalfin, Jake's sister performed her European act, "The birth of a Diva~How I found my Voice" at Rose Hall in Kimberton, PA. This sold out concert was a huge success. Julia's Performanc and voice was so powerful and electrifying
